With generous visa quotas and a welcoming environment, Tasmania stands out as a viable pathway to permanent residency. Beyond migration advantages, Tasmania boasts a growing economy across various sectors and a cost-effective living environment. This article delves into the reasons why Tasmania is becoming a preferred destination for those seeking quality education, career opportunities, and a fulfilling life in Australia.

In the Financial Year of 2024 – 2025, the 190 visa quotation for Tasmania is 2100 places. However, there were only 2,166 applications. This means the applicants had more than 90 percent of being invited to apply for a 190 Tasmania visa.

Nomination applications lodged but not decided  125
Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted  49

  • Skilled Work Regional Visa (Subclass 491)

Similar to the 190 visa, there is a very high chance of getting a 491 visa in Tasmania. In the Financial Year 2024 – 2025, only 610 out of 760 places were filled, indicating favorable conditions for applicants.
