1. 190 Requirements remain unchanged
80 or above; must have IELTS 7/8 in each section or equivalent English language level; full-time (35 hours per week) work for more than 6 months; a full-time job offer of 1 year.
Change! Tradie positions are only 75 points and IELTS 6 in each section or equivalent English language level.
2. 190 Open Offshore pathways; according to QSOL
102 positions with at least 80 points in health, engineering, advanced trades, ICT, tourism and hospitality fields; 3 years of working experience. IELTS 7/8 in each section or equivalent English language level.
3. 491 requirements remain unchanged
65 or above, must have IELTS 7/8 in each section or equivalent English language level (Tradie only needs IELTS 6 in each section); full-time (35 hours per week) work and live in a regional area for more than 3 months; 1-year full-time job offer.
Change! Tradie positions are only 65 points and IELTS 6 in each section or equivalent English language level.
4. 491 Open offshore
According to QSOL: 114; 3 years of work experience; IELTS 7/8 in each section or equivalent English language level
5. Graduates Stream
PHD graduates remain unchanged. MASTER graduates add STREAM: 100% completed MASTER courses in Queensland, graduated in the last two years; STEAM graduates can apply for 190, others can apply for 491; full-time related jobs. BACHELOR graduates change requirements!
All you need is a GPA5.5 or above. Other requirements remain the same.
6. 491 Small business no significant changes!
Note: Do not accept vendor financing; do not accept stock transfers; do not buy a business from a family member; do not redistribute or sell a business until approved by the state; do not buy a business that has already been used to apply for 491.
